Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan is going to have some more competition as she seeks a third term in office.
Local activist Marlon Anderson announced his second bid for mayor over the weekend. Anderson called out the current administration for not doing enough to prevent gun violence in the city, claiming the response has been politics as usual. Reverend Valerie Faust, activist Lukee Forbes as well as comedian and actor Greg Aidala have also announced a run for mayor.
