Very soon, even more New Yorkers are going to be eligible to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations.
That's because the registration process for people with serious medical issues begins on Sunday. Shots will start being given as early as Monday in some spots while other counties will begin immunizations later in the week. Among those eligible to be vaccinated include people suffering from severe obesity, cancer and pulmonary diseases. In order to get their immunization, a person must prove they have a qualifying condition by providing a doctor's note or other certification.
