A much-needed financial boost is on the way for most restaurants around the Empire State.

Beginning March 19th, eateries outside of New York City can operate at 75 % capacity, but tables will still need to be spread apart. The number of customers at restaurants has been limited for months in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. Officials say should the statewide coronavirus infection rate continue to fall, even more businesses will be able to welcome back a larger number of customers.
