The state Attorney General's office has filed a lawsuit against the former owner of Bumpy's Polar Freeze in Schenectady.

The legal filing claims David Elmendorf made a false police report saying people who attended a Black Lives Matter rally outside of the ice cream shop last year had weapons. Elmendorf is also accused of making racial slurs towards the group event and threatened them with violence. The attorney for Elmendorf says his client denies every accusation.
