Bars and restaurants across New York State have gotten the green light to stay open a bit longer.
Beginning on Monday, the current 11 PM curfew will be extended by one hour until midnight. Catered events like weddings that currently have to end a midnight will be allowed to run until 1 AM. Businesses have been pushing for months to have their operating hours extended, saying the current COVID-19 guidelines have already made it difficult to make money.
