There's now a criminal investigation into the Trump Organization.
The New York attorney general has been investigating the organization's finances for a few years now as part of a civil investigation. The AG now says that has turned criminal and is working with the Manhattan district attorney to sift through an enormous amount of paperwork, including former President Donald Trump's tax returns. Trump previously called the investigation politically motivated. The Trump Organization has yet to respond to the criminal investigation.
