The Federal Emergency Management Agency says the COVID-19 mass vaccination clinic at the Washington Avenue Armory will be closing next week.
Since it opened a few months ago, more than 58,000 vaccines have been distributed at the Albany location. FEMA officials aren't saying why the site is being shut down, but demand for vaccine has been falling over the last few weeks. Roughly 56 % of Capital Region residents have received one dose of COVID-19 vaccine while 49 % are fully immunized.
