The winner of Saturday's Belmont Stakes will be spending most of his summer in Saratoga Springs.
Trainer Brad Cox said Sunday the current goal is for Essential Quality to compete in the August 25th Travers Stakes at Saratoga Race Course. It's also possible the champion three-year-old thoroughbred could run in the Jim Dandy on July 31st. Essential Quality is being shipped back to his home in Kentucky Monday before he'll return to this area in a few weeks.
