Dozens of people have been arrested following an investigation into gun and drug trafficking in the Capital Region.
State Attorney General Letitia James says 47 suspects were involved in the operation that resulted in nine weapons, cocaine, heroin mixed with fentanyl and oxycodone being seized. Both police and state officials targeted gangs operating in Albany as part of the probe. Police Chief Eric Hawkins says this sweep proves that committing a crime in the city has consequences.
