Update 6:42am: All lanes have been re-opened
Update 6:36am: Police say they hope to re-open the road by 7am.
A crash on Alternate Route 7 this morning has all eastbound lanes of traffic shut down. Reports say that a car hit an abandoned vehicle on the shoulder near the Miller Rd overpass, causing the abandoned car to catch fire. The fire has since been put out. Police and fire crews are on the scene. Avoid the area if possible. No injuries reported.
