Glenville residents are being told to take in their bird feeders and secure their trash cans following recent bear sightings.
Officials say the animal has been spotted in several locations recently such as the Woodlawn neighborhood, Spring Road, Dalton Drive and Saratoga Drive. It's believed the bear is searching for food sources and town leaders say the Department of Environmental Conservation has already been contacted. Anyone who sees a bear is urged not to approach it and to contact police immediately.
