One of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's top lawyers involved in the sexual harassment allegations against him is resigning.

Judith Mogul handled a sexual harassment complaint against the governor by former Cuomo staffer Charlotte Bennett. A top advisor to the governor released a statement saying Mogul had planned to leave government in early 2020 but extended her service to help manage the pandemic. Bennett's lawyer previously told CBS she alerted Mogul about alleged harassment and was told there was no need to investigate because the governor's conduct never got past the grooming stage.
