Two popular Fall festivals in the Capital Region won't be taking place as planned this year.

Organizers of Albany's LarkFest say the event has been canceled for the second year in a row due to concerns over the coronavirus and whether businesses would be able to handle big crowds of people. Meanwhile, Schenectady's Little Italy Festival has also been scrapped for similar reasons. Other events such as the Riverfront Jazz Festival and PearlPalooza, which are both in Albany, are expected to proceed as scheduled.
