Schenectady County Offering Third Dose of COVID-19 Vaccine to Residents

Health officials in Schenectady County say a third dose of COVID-19 vaccine is now being made available to eligible residents.

Its recommended that people with serious medical problems or who are immunocompromised get extra protection against the virus. Individuals must have already received their first and second doses of Moderna or Pfizer vaccine within 28 days of receiving their third dose. No referral or doctors note is needed and a list of locations where the immunizations are being distributed can be found online.
