Albany Police executed a search warrant at the D-Town Mini Mart on South Pearl Street in Albany after a long investigation based on quality of life complaints from residents in the area. Police arrested 3 men on Thursday night on a number of charges
- Jeffrey Johnson, 35 of Albany, who was holding a handgun in his waistband as well as crack cocaine in his shirt pocket

- Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd
- Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th
- Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd
- Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th
- Dawood Almawri, 32, was in possession of a loaded .380 caliber handgun. Police also found crack cocaine and fentanyl in his apartment
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd
- Two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd
- Jamal Wilson, 48 of Albany, who was also found in possession of fentanyl.
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th
All of the men were taken to Albany County Jail.
