An upstate New York hospital plans to stop delivering babies later this month because maternity workers are resigning over COVID-19 vaccination mandates.
Lewis County General Hospital in Lowville says it will temporarily stop deliveries September 24th after seven of 30 resignations came from maternity ward workers, while another seven in the unit are uncertain about getting the vaccine. Former Governor Andrew Cuomo set a September 27th deadline for workers to at least get a first dose.
