The trial date has been set for the man accused of leading police on a high-speed chase that ended with a deadly crash.
Prosecutors say 32-year-old Sklyer Crouse triggered the pursuit on the Northway back in 2019 that reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour. Crouse got off Exit 25 on the highway and slammed his vehicle into a truck by Joseph Turcotte, killing him. Court records say Crouse was under the influence of several substances at the time of the crash. His trial is scheduled to begin January 10th in Warren County Court.
