Governor Hochul has named four more members to a task force that will look into ways to improve the safety of limousines.

A bill to create the 11-person Stretch Limousine Passenger Safety Task Force was signed back in February 2020 but members have yet to meet. The panel was created following a deadly limousine crash in Schoharie three years ago that killed 20 people. The task force was originally set to issue its final report to Governor Hochul and the legislature next month, but officials say achieving that deadline isn't possible.
