The country's largest retailer is looking to boost its number of employees in the area during job fairs that are happening Wednesday and Thursday.
Walmart is planning to hire people to fill supply chain associate positions including warehouse workers and truck drivers. The average pay for these jobs is $ 20.37 an hour and include benefits such as health care and tuition assistance. Wednesday's hiring event is at the Walmart distribution center on Enterprise Road in Johnstown from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. Thursday's job fair is at the Walmart distribution center on High Street in Sharon Springs, also from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm.
