New York state will accept Canadian vaccine credentials for business entry.

Governor Kathy Hochul announced COVID19 vaccine certificates issued from seven Canadian provinces and territories can now be validated through New York's Excelsior Pass scanner app, so fully-vaccinated Canadians can use compatible credentials to enter state businesses. With the US-Canadian border now reopened, this step represents the first credential exchange between New York and a non-US entity. The Governor pointed out the partnership will accelerate the return of critical business, commerce, and economic development activity.
