The director of operations for Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan has announced he's leaving her administration next month.
Brian Shea, who has worked for Sheehan since 2016, will be taking a job as the assistant city manager in Rye, which is located in Westchester County. In an interview with the Times Union last week, Sheehan credited Shea for all the work he did to help lead the city through the COVID-19 crisis. There's no word yet if the mayor is going to hire anyone to fill his position.
