The New York Racing Association has announced some construction plans ahead of the upcoming season at Saratoga Race Course. According to reports, the first-floor grandstand will undergo a major renovation and there will also be a permanent saddling stall placed on the property. The bar that's adjacent to the paddock will also be extended as part of the project. Opening day is scheduled for Thursday, July 14th and the 40-day meet will wrap up on Labor Day, which is Monday, September 5th.
