New data shows the number of COVID-19 cases in Capital Region schools are continuing to drop significantly.
Accor4eing to reports there were only 4,200 new infections reported last week. That's a massive decline from the roughly 6,500 that were reported the week after students, teachers and staff returned from winter break. Officials say these lower numbers are a sign that the spread of the omicron COVID-19 variant may have peaked in area schools.
