Capital Region drivers are going to be handing over quite a bit more of their money the next time they want to fill up their vehicles.
According to Triple A, the average cost for a gallon of regular gas is now $ 3.56. That's up eight cents in the past week and is 11 cents more than this time last month. The state average is currently $3.53 a gallon while nationally it's $ 3.36.
