Washington County deputies say a third arrest has been made in connection with a home invasion that happened on Christmas Eve.
According to investigators, 55-year-old Thomas Sumter broke into a residence with two other people on Route 196 in Hartford and assaulted a man inside. The three suspects left the home after stealing money and credit cards from the victim. Sumter is facing several charges and was sent to the county jail on $ 25-thousand bail.
