For the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, a Saint Patrick's Day parade will be taking place on the streets of Albany next month.
Mayor Kathy Sheehan says the celebration will begin at nine a-m on March 12th with a Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church. That'll be followed at two p-m by the parade which is going to start at the corner of Quail Street and Central Avenue and end at the corner of State Street and Green Street. This will be the 72nd year for the parade and updates on the event can be found online.
