Schenectady police are still looking for the person who left a dog to die on the side of a street earlier this week.
The department says a male pit-bull was found on Cresse Avenue Monday after someone spotted the animal laying in some snow. Police say the animal appeared to be malnourished and took the dog to a nearby animal hospital where it passed away Monday night. The dog didn't have any collar, microchip or identifying information and anyone with information on the case is asked to call police.
