An announcement is coming regarding retail licenses in the marijuana business. Governor Kathy Hochul is expected to announce today that people with past marijuana convictions will be the first to get a retailers license. The New York Times says the plan is to allow communities most impacted by past drug laws to become early business owners in the cannabis industry.
