The Supreme Court will not hear a challenge to the so-called SALT tax deduction. A number of blue state Democrats challenged the $10,000 cap on state and local tax deductions. They argued it effectively boosted the tax burden on high-earners in states like California and New York.

The high court rejected the challenge without comment.
