An appeals court in New York City will be hearing legal arguments Tuesday involving former NXIVM leader Keith Raniere and fellow group member Clare Bronfman.
Raniere is appealing his conviction on sex trafficking and other charges while Bronfman is appealing the length of her prison sentence after she pleaded guilty to multiple charges. Prosecutors and the lawyers for Raniere and Bronfman will get just a few minutes to present their case to the court. There's no word when a decision on these appeals will be announced.
