State Police have released the name of the man who was killed in a motorcycle crash earlier this week.
On Tuesday night, a Trooper saw a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on Interstate 88 eastbound in Schoharie. The Trooper tried to pull the motorcycle over but the rider refused to stop and after the officer ended the pursuit, they saw the motorcycle had gone off the shoulder of the road and down an embankment. The motorcyclist, 25-year-old Yohannes Bernot, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is still being looked into.
