The American Red Cross is urging people to roll up their sleeves and donate blood during the summer months.
The agency says donations typically decline during this time of the year which limits the amount of blood that's available to help people in an emergency. Everyone who donates through July 10th is going to receive a Red Cross recycled cotton tote bag while supplies last.
