An online fundraiser has been set up to help cover funeral expenses for a Fulton County man who died while saving his daughter.
On Friday, 47-year-old Albert Adamkoski Junior of Mayfield was boating on Sacandaga Lake when he jumped in the water to help his child who was yelling for help. Adamkoski was able to reach the girl and handed her to someone nearby but he ended up going underwater and drowned. So far, a GoFundMe created by Adamkoski's sister has raised over 16-thousand dollars.
