State Attorney General Letitia James is urging New Yorkers who have been deceived by cryptocurrency platforms to report their concerns to her office.
James says that some high-profile crypto businesses have frozen customer withdrawals, filed for bankruptcy, or announced mass layoffs while investors have been left in financial ruin. The AG is also calling on employees of crypto companies who believe they've witnessed misconduct to file a whistleblower complaint. Complaints can be submitted anonymously by using a form that's posted on the Office of the Attorney General's website.
