Albany police have released the name of the man who lost his life after being shot on Central Avenue.
They say that 36-year-old Kareem Collier was struck by gunfire on Tuesday morning and pronounced dead at the scene. His death happened about an hour after five people had been shot and injured in the area of Central Avenue and Lexington Avenue. Police are asking anyone with information on either incident to give them a call immediately at 518-462-8039.
