Folks in the Capital Region who are looking for work or want to make a career change should check out a hiring event that is happening Friday.
The Schoharie County Regional Job Fair will be from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the parking lot of the Walmart on Merchant Place in Cobleskill. There's no cost to attend and among the more than 20 employers who are expected to be there include Alden Equipment, the New York State Department of Corrections, Stewart's, and the Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District. Job seekers should bring a copy of their resume and be prepared for an interview.
