The United States Postal Service is hiring, and the agency has announced some upcoming job fairs to help fill several positions.
The first job fair is Thursday from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the post office on Nott Street in Schenectady and additional fairs will be held November 15th in Cohoes, November 17th in East Greenbush and also November 18th in Athens. The positions that need to be filled include city carrier, city carrier assistants, mail handler assistants and rural carrier associates. The hourly pay for these jobs ranges from 17-dollars and 32 cents an hour to 21-dollars and 19 cents an hour. For more information, go to usps.com/careers.
