Due to cold weather that's going to be blanketing the region over the next couple of days, the Homeless and Travelers Aid Society has issued a Code Blue in Albany.

It will remain in effect through Wednesday because temperatures are expected to be 32 degrees or less, including the wind chill. People who are in need of shelter can go to the Capital City Rescue Mission on South Pearl Street, the Emergency Overflow Shelter on State Street or the IPH Safe Haven on South Swan Street. They can also contact the HATAS Homeless Hotline at 518-463-2124.
