The American Red Cross is helping out 17 people who have been displaced by a fire at a multi-dwelling home in Schenectady.
When crews arrived at the scene on Georgetta Dix Plaza Tuesday, heavy smoke and flames were already coming from the building. Everyone who was inside of the building was evacuated and none of them were injured. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
