Due to cold weather that's going to be blanketing the region the Homeless and Travelers Aid Society has issued a Code Blue in Albany. It will remain in place through Wednesday night because temperatures are expected to be 32 degrees or less, including the wind chill. People who are in need of shelter can head to the Capital City Rescue Mission on South Pearl Street, the Emergency Overflow Shelter on State Street or the IPH Safe Haven on South Swan Street. They can also call the HATAS Homeless Hotline at 518-463-2124.
