Four Arrested in Connection with Colonie Gun Shop Burglary

Four individuals have been arrested in connection with a burglary at NY Shooter Supply, a gun shop located on Central Avenue in Colonie, New York. The suspects, identified as Paul Gervasio, 37, of New Lebanon; Willie Moses, 48, of Albany; Nicole January, 43, of Latham; and Dante Chisholm, 50, of Troy, are facing various charges including criminal possession of a weapon, burglary, grand larceny, and criminal mischief.

The burglary occurred in the early hours of November 14th. The suspects allegedly gained entry into the gun shop by breaking through a wall of a communal bathroom. Surveillance footage captured the break-in, showing a suspect quickly rummaging through the back office and grabbing as many firearms as he could before fleeing. The thieves were able to make off with more than 20 weapons.

Following the burglary, an investigation led by the Colonie Police Department, in collaboration with Albany Police, Troy Police, and federal agencies, led to the arrests. Seven of the 14 stolen firearms have been recovered so far. The recovered weapons include a Ruger wrangler .22LR, a Ruger SP101 9 mm, a Heritage MFG .22 cal, a Taurus TX .22 cal, a Sig Sauer P365 (Rose) 9 mm, a Sig Sauer P365 9mm and a Taurus G3C 9 mm.

The police are still searching for the remaining seven firearms, which include two Glock 9 mm, a Shadow Systems 9 mm, a FN 9mm, a Rost Martin 9 mm, a Glock .45 and a Glock .40.
