The holiday spirit is alive in the Capital Region with two festive events scheduled for Sunday (December 8). The 42nd annual Victorian Stroll will take place in Troy from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event will feature shopping, dining, live entertainment, and a window decorating contest, offering a charming holiday experience for attendees.
Meanwhile, the New York State Tree Lighting and Fireworks Festival will be held at the Empire State Plaza in Albany from noon until 8 p.m. Visitors can enjoy a variety of free activities, including the official tree lighting ceremony, fireworks, and performances by the Hudson Mohawk Figure Skating Club. Attendees can also enjoy demonstrations by The Ice Farm and music from Tuba Christmas. Additionally, there will be opportunities for photos with Santa Claus at Cornerstone at the Plaza.
