The search continues for suspects involved in a vandalism spree in Schenectady. On December 28, tires were slashed on several streets, including Norwood Avenue, Willett Street, and Van Cortlandt Street. Two vehicles were also stolen from Van Cortlandt Street but have since been recovered. Similar incidents occurred on January 5, with reports of tire slashing on Bridge Street, Ten Eyck Avenue, and Santa Fe Street. The Schenectady Police Department released surveillance images of the suspects on Monday (January 6) and is asking for the public's help in identifying them. The police believe the incidents are related and are urging residents to check their home surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police tips line at 518-788-6566. According to the Daily Gazette, residents are also advised to report suspicious activities immediately by calling 911.
