Police in Rotterdam are actively searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at the Country Farms convenience store on Guilderland Avenue. The incident occurred on Thursday evening (January 9) around 8:07 p.m. when a man entered the store, displayed a black handgun, and demanded cash from the employees. The suspect then fled on foot, heading north on Vischer Avenue.
Authorities, including the Rotterdam Police Department, Schenectady Police, Schenectady County Sheriff's Department, and New York State Police, conducted a thorough search of the area but were unable to locate the suspect. According to the Times Union, police have released images captured by the store's security camera in hopes that the public can help identify the suspect.
