An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of a fatal car crash in Malta that claimed the life of Jeremy Robson, a 24-year-old resident of Ballston Spa. The accident occurred early Tuesday morning (January 14) near the Malta Avenue overpass for the Northway, close to Van Aernem Road. According to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, two vehicles collided at approximately 5:37 a.m.
Jeremy Robson was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle was treated and released. The crash led to the temporary closure of Malta Avenue between Van Aernem Road and Arnold Road as investigators from the Sheriff's Accident Reconstruction Unit examined the scene. The road has since reopened.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the accident to contact the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office. The investigation remains active as officials work to uncover the circumstances leading to the tragic incident.
