The Saratoga Springs Police Department is experiencing disruptions today due to a planned power outage at City Hall. The outage began early Wednesday morning (February 26) and is expected to impact some of the department's capabilities. Despite this, emergency services remain accessible by dialing 911 or 518-584-1400.
During the outage, residents arriving at the police station will find the intercom and doorbell systems inoperative. As a result, they are advised to use the non-emergency line for assistance. According to News10, officials request that the community refrain from contacting the police with nonurgent matters until after noon.
The City of Saratoga Springs is conducting routine IT maintenance, which is expected to conclude by early afternoon. Some online services may be unavailable during this period, as noted on the city's alert center. All systems are anticipated to be fully operational later today.
