Eight-Year-Old Boy Dies in Schenectady Hit-And-Run

An eight-year-old boy tragically died following a hit-and-run incident in Schenectady on Wednesday night (March 19). The accident occurred at the intersection of Crane Street and Chrisler Avenue around 7:40 PM. The child was found unresponsive at the scene and was rushed to Ellis Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

According to NEWS10 ABC, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene before police arrived. However, officers located a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident in the Woodlawn area of Schenectady shortly afterward. Schenectady police have spoken with a person of interest, but no arrests have been made yet.
