The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT) has announced the closure of Latham Circle for two nights to conduct pavement repairs. The roundabout, located at the intersection of State Route 2 and U.S. Route 9 in Latham, will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Tuesday (May 6) and Wednesday (May 7).
Motorists are advised to follow detour routes via State Route 155 (Watervliet Shaker Road), Interstate 87, and Delatour Road. The NYS DOT has warned drivers to expect delays and to allocate extra travel time. According to CBS6 Albany, the construction activities are weather-dependent and may change based on conditions.
