The Latham Circle roundabout, located at the intersection of State Route 2 and U.S. Route 9 in Colonie will be closed overnight for pavement marking. The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) announced that the closure will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday (May 12) and Tuesday (May 13).

Motorists should anticipate delays and are advised to follow the posted detour routes, which utilize State Route 155 (Watervliet Shaker Road), Interstate 87, and Delatour Road. The NYSDOT has emphasized the importance of adhering to the detours and reminded drivers that fines for speeding in work zones are doubled.

The pavement marking is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve road safety and infrastructure. According to the NYSDOT, construction activities are weather-dependent and subject to change.
