As the summer travel season approaches, drivers in the Capital Region are experiencing stable gas prices. According to Triple-A, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is currently $3.09. This price has remained unchanged from last week but is four cents higher than it was a month ago. In comparison, the state average stands at $3.13, while the national average is slightly higher at $3.18.

The consistency in gas prices comes as motorists prepare for increased travel during the summer months. While prices have seen a slight increase over the past month, they have held steady in recent weeks, providing some predictability for consumers planning their travel budgets.

With the summer season just around the corner, drivers can expect these prices to potentially fluctuate as demand increases. However, for now, the stability in gas prices offers some relief for those hitting the road.
